TREK OVERVIEW

The Poon Hill trek is one of the easiest routes in the Annapurna Sanctuary which explains its growing popularity. It’s a great route to walk for inexperienced hikers and for those who want to get a taste of trekking in Nepal.
The route is well-marked, and there are many guesthouses and restaurants on the way.
The Poon Hill is a great trail to do as an acclimatization trek before attempting one of the more challenging routes like the Annapurna Circuit trek or the Annapurna Base Camp trek.

Poon Hill, the undisputed highlight of the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek in Nepal, offers one of the most breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas.

    The Poon Hill Trek difficulty is quite low. The path is wide in many places and on the steep parts steps have been created to make the hiking easier. Technically it’s probably the easiest hike we offer in Nepal.

    FLORA & FAUNA

    Different species of Rhododendron and the Orchid are the major plants. This region is the habitat of the animals like sheep, donkey & deers.
