OVERVIEW

Trekking in the backcountry of the Himalayas requires expertise, an understanding of the terrain and the proper gear. Without these essentials, an experience of a lifetime can quickly turn to life threatning.

PACKING LIST

The first recommendation is to pack as lightly as possible. Women should dress modestly.
Cotton or wicking T-shirts are good. Micro-pore polyester allows sweat to evaporate through the fabric, and dry quickly after washing.

HEALTH

Your guide and our company are not physicians and, therefore, cannot advise you on which immunizations to receive or not receive. You must decide with your doctor which immunizations to get.

SAFETY

It will be essential that you alert us as soon as convenient if you have any allergies, (including shellfish allergies) or have asthma, or if you are taking any medications on a routine basis.
